The artist opened up about her supportive family who have come to understand her mental disorder.
"God gave me this beautiful family for they knew my life must be hard so I can be honest about my pain," she said.

"Today is my sister’s birthday. Yesterday was my son’s 20th. I’m so proud of who they have become. My sister supports me with raising Zazi and Phalo. They call her ‘dad’. I’m so grateful to the universe for helping me take care of my family," said the artist.
She explained how hard the situation is on her family but also expressed how happy she is for their understanding.
"Depression is hard on family. I’m so glad these two get it," she said.

"I love you all so much! and I’m so grateful for these two [Her brother and aunt], happy birthday to them," she said.
