Ferguson has written an in-depth book detailing the tumultuous romance of slain Hip Hop rapper Kiernan "AKA" Forbes and his late fiancée Anele Tembe, When Love Kills - the tragic tale of AKA and Anele.
The former police minister shared his testimony with the ad hoc committee that the police detectives who were investigating the untimely death of AKA's fiancée believed that she was murdered - contrary to the statement that was released in media of suicide.
The seasoned author believes that this latest testimony by the former police minister vindicates her conclusion that the Hip Hop rapper's fiancée never committed suicide on that fateful day.
"Since I wrote and released the book When Love Kills - the tragic tale of Aka and Anele, I've been waiting for the inquest into Anele Tembe's tragic death. I am hoping that the truth will soon be made public. My book caused so much drama and yet I stand by every word," she said. Cele said that the Western Cape prosecutor refused to enroll prosecution on the inquest of the late Anele Tembe's death.
"I'm sure that one day you'll hear that there is an inquest into Moses Tembe's daughter. Police did the investigation and they believed that, that daughter was murdered.
"And the prosecutor refused to give certificate. So you can't prosecute, you can't give certificate. So you're stuck in the middle. You should ask the prosecutor that did not enroll it in this Western Cape," said the former minister.

Now that AKA is also late, I guess we'll never ever know for sure.#AdHocCommittee
The NPA refused to enrol the case of Ane le Tembe even though the police believed that they had enough evidence that she was murdered? They further refused to give the family a certificate for private prosecution 🙊#AdHocCommittee
