The celebrated chef is the owner of the fine dining restaurant, SIBA – The Restaurant, within the luxurious five-star Table Bay Hotel and The Siba Deli at the Time Out Market in the tourist attraction precinct of the V&A Waterfront.
The Welcome To My Table best-selling author took to Instagram to announce the news to her premium clientele in an exciting build-up to the good news.
"The Siba Deli Food Shop and Eatery is officially open in the heart of Cape Town," she said.
"A dream more than eight years in the making. What began as a vision has now become a home for flavour, comfort and everyday joy. We can’t wait to share our complete menu and deli delights this weekend," said the proud mother of four.

The chef hinted at new prospects currently on the way with the new culinary establishment.
"This is a beginning of another new chapter, lots of exciting things in the pipeline with this new venture," she said.
She spoke at length about the hard work that paid off of bringing her latest eatery to life.
"This project is Siba true and true! A full embodiment of my culinary philosophy, contribution to industry and society at large. The hardest, most complex, most challenging project on all fronts I’ve ever worked on, yet the most fulfilling.
"A reminder that dreams take time, but the wait shapes the wonder," said the culinary expert.
