Johannesburg - Rapper and reality TV personality Nadia Nakai has pushed back the release date of her latest duet, Really, with fellow rapper Nasty C.

The collaborative single between the two rappers was meant to drop out on Friday but due to the G20 women's national shutdown taking place on Friday, it will now be released on the 28th of November.

She took to Instagram to inform her eagerly-awaiting fans about the anticipated song's reschedule.

"My new song Really ft Nasty C will not be dropping this Friday anymore," she said.

"I was suposed to drop my new song Really featuring Nasty C on the 21st of November; this date was chosen a couple of months ago, but I'm going to move my release date for obvious reasons. If you don't know, just check my profile picture and what I stand for.

"We as women are not working on Friday. So the song will be released on the 28th of November. Now quarter to December. Watch out for that. I also cancelled  my gigs on Friday. Enough is enough," said the rapper.

On the 21st of November - shortly before the highly anticipated G20 summit in South Africa - Women For Change (WFC) has called on women and members of the LGBTQIA+ community to refrain from any form of economic participation in the country.

In a move to show solidarity for the movement those affected and passionate about Gender-Based-Violence and Femicide have changed their profile pictures to purple to show support to the victims.
