Johannesburg - Seasoned media personality Bonang Matheba has once again proven that she is a global sensation - she is the girl that she thinks she is.

The queen boss of the House of BNG - her thriving wine brand - has been announced as the official host of the B20 summit (Business of 20) set to take place on the 18th of November.

The prestigious event will be taking place at the Sandton Convention Centre.

What is a B20 Summit?

A B20 Summit is a dialogue platform that brings together different leaders from the global business community to sit down and engage on various business key issues that are going to offer policy recommendations regarding the  business fraternity to the G20 Summit (Government of 20).

In a nutshell it is a build-up to the G20 Summit - influencing the agenda on the table at the G20 through their policy recommendations under this year's theme of "inclusive growth and shared prosperity through global cooperation".

The organisation took to Instagram recently to break the news to much delight from the BForce (Bonang Matheba's fans).

"Bonang Matheba will host the opening night of the B20 South Africa Summit on 18 November. Bonang represents South Africa's excellence, confidence and influence on the global stage," said the organisation.

"As we begin this historic Summit, her presence will set the tone for two days of connection, collaboration and shared vision. Led from Africa. Shared with the world," the organisation said.

The queen boss herself shared the news on her X account.

"Exciting times," she said.

This event marks as a historic milestone in South Africa as the first ever G20 and B20 presidency by an African country.
