The seasoned Carte Blanche broadcaster took to Instagram, recently, to let her followers in on her bohemian-themed wedding set against the backdrop of a scenic sand-white ocean and mountains.
She married her beau in the breath-taking, picturesque Cape Town, in the Western Cape, on a secret location surrounded by a select few.
"And so the adventure begins," she wrote.
Dressed in a white Zara dress with a custom-made cowrie shell headpiece designed by jewellery manufacturer Lebo Mojaki of Elizabeth Morr - the newlyweds donned matching Comme des Garcons Play Converse sneakers to complement each other's look.
"From conception to execution, working with the Elizabeth Morr team on my custom headpiece was a dream come true. The long brief I gave them included symbols personal to us. Mixed metals, mother of pearl and the hero, the cowrie shell," said the newly-wedded bride.
She thanked the designer for trusting her vision and inspiration.
"Thank you to Lebo for her commitment in making this piece as breathtaking as it was, and for maintaining the integrity of the vision. Inspired by our ceremony location, our heritage and our love, I couldn't have asked for more," she said.
Earlier this year the media maven was awarded with the Basadi In Music Award (BIMA) at the prestigious event which took place at the Joburg Theatre honouring women and their contribution in media and entertainment.
"I am truly so deeply honoured to be recognised by Basadi In Music Award as an iconic woman who helped build and shape nineties pop culture in South Africa," she said upon receiving the accolade.
