Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla is currently facing two counts of chargers relating to terrorism concerning the July 2021 unrest in KwaZulu-Natal which left more than 300 people dead.
The embattled former president's daughter is now facing new allegations for allegedly manipulating 17 South African men to fight in the frontlines for Russia in its ongoing conflict against Ukraine.
Mazwai said that its important to address the issue of Duduzile Zuma as she believes that she is being "scapegoated" and that the new allegations against her are the results of a "witch-hunt".
"It's the 16 Days of Activism around GBV (Gender-Based-Violence) and its important to talk about Duduzile Zuma," she said.
"We are watching a witch-hunt on a black girl. Now they are clutching at straws of her instigating the July unrest now they found another story with the Russia and Ukraine war and her personally recruiting...all these men...it's....rubbish," said the activist.
Mazwai said that the men recruited had a "choice" not to go.
"If you guys were going for military training you knew the circumstances around war and fighting in combat. You cannot scapegoat Dudu Zuma now at your convenience.
"Hands off Dudu Zuma, you hypocrites are trash and must hold yourselves accountable for the choices you made! So I just want to call out the violence against Duduzile Zuma at the moment.
"You can't be saying its 16 Days of Activism [for No Violence Against Women and Children] and than you're behaving like this...the silence of the purple gang...," she said.
